Sunday School

Sunday school at Grace is offered for all ages, from infant through adult. We meet every Sunday between worship services from 9:30-10:15am and use the Concordia Publishing House curriculum for our classes. All of the children learn the same Bible lesson each week, taught at their level. We are blessed with a staff of amazing Sunday school teachers who love to teach the faith. Please join us and contact the Director of Christian Education, Kami Jo Mogelvang, with any questions you may have.

March 3rd           Jesus changes water into wine, John 2:1-11
Law/Gospel: Like the disciples, I am unsure of who Jesus is. Through His Word and Sacraments, Jesus shows He is my Savior and God.

Memory Work 1.26

March 10th         Jesus clears the Temple, John 2:13-22
Law/Gospel: I sin when I do not honor God’s house or when I disturb the worship of others. Jesus is my holy temple who, by His sacrifice on the altar of the cross, cleansed me from sin and made me a members of His Body, the Church.

Memory Word 1.27

March 17th         Jesus teaches Nicodemus, John 3:1-21
Law/Gospel: As a child of Adam, I am by nature sinful and unclean. As a child of God, I am by grace righteous and pure in God’s sight. I have been born of water and the Spirit in Holy Baptism, through which God the Holy Spirit created and sustains faith in my heart to believe and trust in Jesus and gives me the gift of eternal life.

Memory Word 1.28

March 24th         Jesus and the Samaritan Woman, John 4:1-42
Law/Gospel: Because of sin, my soul is parched and dying. The Spirit, the Lord and giver of life, gives me the living water from God’s Word and Holy Baptism to quench my spiritual thirst forever, giving me new life in Christ.

Memory Work 1.29

March 31st          Jesus is rejected at Nazareth, Luke 4:16-30
Law/Gospel: Sin blinds me so I cannot see my Savior. God works through His Word and Sacraments so I can see and believe in Jesus.
