Sunday School

Sunday school at Grace is offered for all ages, from infant through adult. We meet every Sunday between worship services from 9:30-10:15am and use the Concordia Publishing House curriculum for our classes. All of the children learn the same Bible lesson each week, taught at their level. We are blessed with a staff of amazing Sunday school teachers who love to teach the faith. Please join us and contact the Director of Christian Education, Kami Jo Mogelvang, with any questions you may have.

Our Sunday school memory work for January!

Family Memory Cards show two numbers, the first is for the year and the second is for the week. If you do not have your Family Memory Cards, talk to DCE Kami Jo.

January 7th, Dorcas. Acts 9:36-43
Law/Gospel: By nature, I seek glory for myself in all that I do, even my outward good works. When Christ shines His forgiveness on me, I am transformed to live for others to the glory of God.

Memory Card 3.20

January 14th, Peter and Cornelius. Acts 10
Law/Gospel: Jess is the judge of the living and the dead and rightfully condemns me to death and hell because of my sin. Because of His saving work on the cross, Jesus forgives my sins and promises me eternal life.

Memory Card 3.21

January 21st, Peter’s escape from Prison. Acts 12
Law/Gospel: In this world of sin, the Church of God will be persecuted on account of Christ, resulting in suffering for me and all believers. God works through His Word to break the chains of sin, relieve the suffering it causes, and sustain His Church.

Memory Card 3.22

January 28th, Paul’s First Missionary Journey. Acts 13-14
Law/Gospel: When I despise the preaching of God’s Word, do not hold it sacred, and do not gladly hear and learn it, I sin and support Satan’s cause. The gates of hell will not prevail against the Church and God’s Word, through which sinners are converted and in which I receive the grace of God.
